When I Get to Heaven'

When I get to Heaven'

Way up high in the sky

The first thing that I'm gonna do

Is see my family and friends

I'm gonna see my grandma

And run my fingers through her hair

Then i'm gonna find out what it's like

To ride a lighting bolt

(chrous)

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

There'll be only happy tears

I will see my family and friends

I have known all these years

And I'll leave my heart wide open

I will love and have no fear

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

Don't cry for me down here

I'm gonna walk with my Grandma

And she'll match me step by step

And I'll tell her how Much I've missed her

Every minute since she left

And then I'll hug her tight

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

There'll be only happy tears

I will see my family and friends

I have known all these years

And I'll leave my heart wide open

I will love and have no fear

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

Don't cry for me down here

So much pain and so much darkness

In this world we stumble through

All these questions I can't answer

And so much work to do

(chrous)

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

There'll be only happy tears

I will see my family and friends

I have known all these years

And I'll leave my heart wide open

I will love and have no fear

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

Don't cry for me down here

But when I get to Heaven'

And I'll see my grandma;s face

I'll stand forever in the light

Of her amazing grace

Yeah, when I get to Heaven'

(Oh when I get to Heaven')

There'll be only happy tears

(Hallelujah!)

I will love and have no fear

(Yeah, when I get to Heaven')

Yeah, when I get to Heaven''

Momma's Hands

I remember Momma;s hands

Folded silently in prayer

And reaching out to hold me

When I had a nightmare

You could read quite a story

From the years of work and worry

Had left her mark behind

I remember momma's hands

How they held me tight

And patted my back

For something done right

There are things I've forgotten

That I loved about her

But I'll always remember

The love in momma's hands

Momma's hands

Were soft and kind when I was cryin'

Momma's hands

Were hard as steel when I'd done wrong

Momma's hands

Weren't always gentle but I'd come to understand

There was always love in Momma's hands

I remember Momma's hands

Working just to keep us all fed

If I could do things over

I'd live my life again

And never take for granted

The love in Momma's hands

Momma's hands

Were soft and kind when I was cryin'

Momma's hands

Were hard as steel when I'd done wrong

Momma''s hands

Weren't always gentle but I'd come to understand

There was always love in Momma's hands

Momma's hands

Were soft and kind when I was cryin'

Momma's hands

Were hard as steel when I'd done wrong

Momma's hands

Weren't always gentle but I'd come to understand

There was always love ............ in Momma's hands

'Four fresh tires'

I was feelin’ the blues

I was watching the race

When this dude came on the TV

He said I’m tellin’ you

That science has proven

That heartaches are healed by speed

That got me goin’

Without even knowin’

I packed up my chevy

Now I’m on a roll

And I swear to my soul

Tonight I’m gonna win this race

So bring me four fresh tires

A full tank of gas

Let’s bump and run

And never leave this track

Troubles I forgot ‘em

I spun him out in turn three

So bring me four fresh tires

I said hello to victory lane

Oh now I’ve gotta say

That the bumping and rubbing

Eases my mind

By leavin’ behind these heartaches

Now I’ve got a smile

That goes on for miles

With no inclination to wreck

I’ve gotta say

I'm gonna stay

‘Cause this is feelin’ more and more like home

So bring me four fresh tires

A full tank of gas

Let’s bump and run

And never leave this track

Troubles I forgot ‘em

I spun him out in turn three

So bring me four fresh tires

I said hello to victory lane
